How to read it. Issued means credits certified by Gold Standard and live on the registry with serial numbers. Retired means permanently used by a buyer against its own emissions. Available is issued less sold; sold credits that have not yet been retired still sit on the registry, so the two figures differ. Each project's registry page carries its documents: the design document, the validation and verification reports and the monitoring reports.

The symbols. They follow the ones the Gold Standard Impact Registry uses. Gold Standard Certified Project, the registry status once design certification, validation and the first verification are complete. Emission reduction, the product the project issues. Gender Responsive, Gold Standard's optional higher tier, awarded on monitored results for women; VPAs 3, 5, 6 and 7 are the first cookstove projects on the Gold Standard Impact Registry to carry the Gender Responsive label. ICVCM Core Carbon Principles: eligible, the registry's eligibility entry for the CCP label. Gold Standard is assessed as CCP-eligible and the cooking methodology as CCP-approved, so the issued cooking credits carry the label. Gold Standard is assessed CCP-eligible and GS TPDDTEC v4.0 CCP-approved on the ICVCM assessment status page. None of these is awarded by SaniTap.

The SDGs. The Sustainable Development Goals recorded for each project on the registry; Certified marks the ones verified alongside the carbon on a certified project: 1 No Poverty, 3 Good Health and Well-being, 5 Gender Equality, 7 Affordable and Clean Energy, 8 Decent Work and Economic Growth, 13 Climate Action, 15 Life on Land. Each is tied to a monitored indicator and verified on the same cycle as the carbon. All issued credits so far are 2025 vintage.
