Our Work

Providing clean water, sanitation and hygiene, saving lives and protecting the environment of vulnerable communities as they adapt and build resilience to climate change.

Our Work

SaniTap provides innovative WASH solutions to vulnerable communities as they adapt and build resilience to climate change, saving lives and protecting the environment.

Like any ecosystem, SaniTap, has several facets to its activity, nor does it operate in isolation.  SaniTap collaborates with other organisations to deliver WASH interventions on the ground; it works with Carbon Developers and Adaptation Partners as well as national, trans-national and international NGOs and funding institutions.

The theme that runs through everything SaniTap does is that our work is focused on  Mitigation activities, enabling Adaptation measures and Building Resilience in the face of Climate Change with a specific sectoral focus on WASH.

SaniTap builds and restores water sources; it develops and provides new, culturally appropriate WASH technologies; it supports other organisations to scale and provides Consultancy for the WASH sector with a focus on Adaptation, Mitigation and Resilience solutions.

  • Water quality and access is restored.
  • Models for ongoing maintenance are introduced, building capacity and resilience.
